Our Agricultural Project

The heart of Yama Foundation's work is our 20-hectare agricultural training center in Ambam, Cameroon, creating sustainable alternatives to dangerous migration.

Project Overview

20 Hectares of Hope in Ambam

In the Ambam region of Cameroon, we have established a 20-hectare agricultural training center that serves as both a practical training ground and a demonstration farm. This land represents hope for hundreds of young Cameroonians who might otherwise consider dangerous migration routes.

Our project addresses the root causes of migration by creating viable economic opportunities at home. We provide comprehensive training in modern, sustainable agriculture that empowers youth to build prosperous lives in their own communities.

The center focuses on crops suitable for the local climate and market demands, ensuring that trainees can establish profitable agricultural enterprises upon completion of their training.
